Exact Air was founded in 1987 by Michael Spencer-Hughes, "I had worked in the heating ventilation and air conditioning industry for 7 years and felt that there was a good business opportunity for a professionally run independent HVAC company. By providing a great service and very competitive pricing, we quickly expanded our loyal customer base and survived the economic downturn which arrived a few years later. Since then business has gone from strength to strength thanks to our professional, practical approach and our skilled experience team, and in July 2000 we became a Public Limited Company.
